This is pretty fascinating. Researchers from Northeastern University and Harvard have collected 300 million tweets and cross-referenced them with a scholarly word set associated with attitude to come up with a video time-lapse showing the mood of the nation. Oregon does not seem all that happy, but generally the west coast is “chipper” compared to central and eastern states.
