Intel
Bonfire worked with Intel to develop a social media strategy for their Software Partner Program. The goal of the campaign was to increase program participation by targeting relevant users via social media channels and provide them with useful program information. Our services included developing tools to monitor program and brand mentions across all social media outlets, integrating communications across social media channels and training Intel's Brand Ambassador Jon Bulliger on how to best manage an online community.
The results have been impressive with dramatic increases in the program's Facebook fans, Twitter followers, and most importantly, a 32% increase in program participation. The social media campaign was so cost effective that the program's overall marketing budget was reduced by shifting funds away from traditional methods and employing Bonfire's social media expertise. More details are outlined in our Intel Software Partner Program case study.
Microsoft's XBOX360
Bonfire collaborated to develop the social media strategy for a traveling experiential movement demonstrating the newest features of the XBOX360. Working with multiple agencies, Bonfire was responsible for creating an integrated strategy that combined every aspect of the marketing mix.
XBOX360 is a leading game console amongst gamers, but the teams at Microsoft wanted to broaden their reach to “Family Timers” and “Hyper-Socials” with a new revolutionary gaming peripheral. Bonfire collaborated to create target 'personas' and developed social media strategies that would appeal to each specific demographic.

In January 2011, international lifestyle brand Paul Frank hired Bonfire to manage its community and bolster its U.S. fan base. Through strategic content development and partnerships with compatible brands, Bonfire increased Facebook fans by 42% and Twitter followers almost 23,000%.
This growth placed Paul Frank in a position more reflective of its international popularity. The U.S. base continues to expand, and the Facebook page is well on its way to 1 million fans. 15 months later, Bonfire continues to manage the diverse community.
